I purchased Etude House's Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk Lipstick in OR205 a couple of months ago online and I've fallen in love with this super sweet lipstick! If you haven't heard of Etude House they are a company based in Korea which make the cutest cosmetics EVER. Even the box for this lipstick makes me happy!
There are 24 shades in this range of lipsticks which made it incredibly hard for me to choose a colour.
I decided on a very pretty tangerine orange as it's a hard to come by colour here in Australia (but it's one of the most loved colour trends in Korea at the moment for lips!).
The tube itself is a very sweet pale lavender/pink colour with an iridescent sheen to it, topped off with a little pink bow!
I love pulling it out of my handbag to re-apply throughout the day and seeing the curious looks I get before I pull off the lid!
The lipstick is a lovely texture, very creamy and gives my lips a beautiful shine of moisture. It's very versatile and you can build up the colour as much as you like. I have 2 coats in the picture which comes out very vivid.
The only issue I've had is if I don't exfoliate my lips beforehand the lipstick does catch on any dryness on the lips. So make sure to exfoliate or wear a good lip balm before application!
Overall I'm loving this lipstick and I really do want to invest in some more colours. The colour range is definitely amazing!

ReplyDeleteThis colour is amazing! I don't think I would have chosen it for myself from seeing the bright colour in the tube, but it looks so good on your lips!
ReplyDeleteim using it too but its too drying! =C and applying a lip balm before it will jus make it slip off easily. sigh
